Basics for work equipment


Almost every piece of work equipment is subject to regular testing. Therefore, the employer is obliged to define the scope of testing of each piece of work equipment. This is generally done under therisk assessmentcarried out. It should be noted here that for certain work equipment (such as pressure vessels) the inspection period and the inspection organization (e.g. TÜV) are stipulated by law. In this case, the test period must not be deviated from.
Basically, when determining the scope of the test, the following procedure should be followed:
